'I don't feel sorry for him, why do I need to feel sorry for him?' asks Katie, 32.
'It's just sad, I hope we can be friends one day.
'I'm sure it's going to be hard because I'm sure he's going get offered money to run me down.
'From what I hear in the pipeline that's what he's doing.'
After a whirlwind romance, Katie and Alex married in Las Vegas in February 2010, separating earlier this year - just 11 months later.
'That was all in the past, I don't want to think about it,' the former glamour model told Richard Bacon on Radio 5 Live today.
